This my friends, is a great way to start off my new blog! Nick and Kelsey were a dream to photograph! I was in awe of the lovely details and planning that went into this wedding. From the lemonade stand to the delicious family made carrot cake cupcakes. Fun fact, the band The Blackberry Bushes Stringband also played at my own wedding reception! It was an awesome trip down memory lane. What a BEAUTIFUL group of people to capture and to spend the afternoon with.

So, THANK YOU, to all of our much loved and very dear family and friends who joined us throughout the year and especially week of to make this DIY wedding an occasion we’ll cherish and remember for the rest of our lives, and to all the local businesses and entrepreneurs that helped out- Robin Hood Village Resort for hosting so many friends, Captains Cindy Sund, Roger Slade, & Lee Geist, for piloting us on our cruise, Chef Justyn Chartier for shelling all those beans for our delicious bean dip, The Robin Hood Restaurant and Pub for hosting us for our lovely Friday night dinner, where we got to taste the delights of Hama Hama oysters, Olympic Mountain Ice Cream and Bliss Wunder truffles, and listen to the groovy sounds of The Highlife Band, and to Aunt Moe for hosting our ceremony on her beautiful riverfront property, to Robyn Holmes for the amazing hair and makeup during the ceremony, and the Reverend Justin Stang for marrying us off and making the music sound great all weekend, to Fresh Start Market and Catering for the delicious dips and authentic bagels, to Healthy Benefits Market for the most delicious salmon ever, to Kulshan Brewing Company for the awesome Northwest beer, to Riverdance Soapworks for the delightful soap favors, to Poppi Photography for photographing our day and capturing and creating so many special moments, to Kerry London Myers for her amazing vision in completely transforming the 100-year old grange hall into our fantasy farm wedding setting, to the The Blackberry Bushes Stringband for playing our wedding night, and especially for guest starring my dad on the spoons, to the ultimate bartender, George Stenberg, and finally to the amazing team of chefs who made the entire weekend so delicious- Chef Mike Holbein, Chef Ed, Chef Joe and Amadeus Chef.
