Last weekend we went with our friends Hans and Catherine to Sequim, WA to see the lavender fields. Our first stop was at Jardin du Soleil. A couple days before we left I saw on their website they were offering a “Brunch in the Blooms” for Saturday morning. I eagerly bought four tickets as it sounded like a lovely way to spend the morning. Sequim Fresh Catering provided the food. It was DELICIOUS! There was quiche, roasted potatoes, lavender infused fresh fruit, lavender scones, muffins, bacon, sausage and honey lavender lemonade! We loved every bite! Rick and Paulette (the owners of Sequim Fresh Catering) even let me take their photo. We then spent time taking more pictures of the abundance of purple surrounding us, as well as the poppies of course! The bees were buzzing and the smell was wonderful. Thank you Jardin du Soleil for a fantastic visit! Next we went to Purple Haze Lavender Farm!
Purple Haze Lavender Farm treated us with more beautiful lavender and lemon-lavender sherbet ice cream. They even allowed pets to walk around, as long as they were on a leash! I was happy Kora got to explore too. It was the perfect day trip and I’m looking forward to visiting again soon! Thanks Hans and Catherine for the awesome double date! *Photos by Fox in the Pine and Poppi Photography.
